The final stop on the Flesh and Blood World Tour took us back to Latin America for World Tour Sao Paulo. We saw days of coverage in the waning days of the Classic Constructed format.
We all remember the last time we had a Calling in Sao Paulo, and the raucous fervour of the Brazilian Community. These players brought that same energy back into their second trip to this city, with some highs and lows of great gameplay.
World Tour Sao Paulo Announcements

It was during this Calling that we got the announcements for #fabtolatam. Flesh and Blood TCG has been expanding more and more into so many new markets, and they're doing so again. This Calling, they announced that Flesh and Blood will be supported in many new locations, including: Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, and more. LSS also announced partnerships with Geek Culture Brazil to help distribute Flesh and Blood even further across Brazil. Full details about this exciting growth for the game in their official article.
Between games of the Calling Day 1, they confirmed the contents and the hits in Gem Pack 5. Full details about it in another article.
Calling Sao Paulo

The passionate Brazilian community showed up in force for Calling Sao Paulo. Amidst the 265 players, we got to see a spread of the meta heavy hitters at the top, and an absolute litany of 1-of heroes.
It'll be interesting to see how drastic a fall from grace it will be for Oscilio, Constella Intelligence when the bans go live. Given the dominance of Arakni, Marionette, it is possible that the daggers matter Assassin may also catch a few bans. Between his sudden meta relevance, and the fact he is in touching distance of Living Legend leads me to believe Victor Goldmane, High and Mighty is not liable to receive any significant changes to his kit in the coming season.

Having stated above the power of Mario, the 7% conversion rate is absolutely atrocious. Jacob Clements and one other player were the only Marionette pilots going into Day 2.
It's surprising to see Kayo, Underhanded Cheat put so many copies into day 2. Given that Oscilio starts on naturally less life, and the disruption from Kayo is instant speed, and naturally hard to block, the Revild Brute could have a very unique place in the metagame. On top of that, the versatile Ira, Scarlet Revenger had a remarkably strong conversion rate, offering relevant disruption into Mario and Oscilio, and pressuring the Victors.

The Top 8 bracket was much more diverse than Jakarta, with it's 3 Mario and 3 Victor. The surprise factor is the emergence of Gravy Bones, Shipwrecked Looter in a field full of Oscilio, and the Dash I/O in a field full of Victor.
Going into top 4, the Brit Jason Rolfe and the American Brodie Spurlock were eliminated, meaning it would have been a guaranteed Brazilian winning the second ever Calling Sao Paulo.
The runner up deck was Yan Pedroni playing Vynnset, Iron Maiden.
Yan's version focuses on the combo potential of explosive Runechant generation, accepting the trade off of lacking Shadow synergy for burst damage afforded by Mordred Tide and Mauvrion Skies. The deck is also insulated fairly well from fatigue by the one off Red Putrid Stirrings to cycle one or more cards back into deck to get a huge +5 onto an attack as long as it's consistently banished with Deep Recesses of Existence.
The winner "Cadu" Carlos Eduardo Amaral Da Silva won the Calling on Oscilio, and amazingly, this pilot was the winner of the first ever Sao Paulo Calling one year ago. The deck soon to be gone in a flash will continue the tradition for Cadu and Sao Paulo, given that his first win was with Aurora, Shooting Star.
His list looks relatively stock, with the new card Glyph Power Spell to offer immense damage when the Sigils are in play. Cards which may be gone in the banning, and cards with the Elemental talent like Entwine Lightning are all ones we will not find in the new Oscilio, but this final flash of Lightning before the bannings will be unforgettable.
Showdown Sao Paulo
While Lightning struck for the Calling, it was a slash of the Harmonzed Kodachi as Marcos Rogerio Silva won the Sunday Showdown playing Ira, Crimson Haze.
Ira has been the dominant deck in the Silver Age metagame throughout the recent Skirmish Season. The suite of 14 0-cost Blues keeps the deck consistent while the rest of the deck presents consistent Go Again, Crouching Tiger synergy with Untamed and Pouncing Qi in Red and Blue, and the tech in the form of Arcane Polarity to deal with Wizards and Reinforce the Line to handle Dominate from the Guardians.
Wrap Up
World Tour Sao Paulo has brought us the most concise look at how the main formats look for Flesh and Blood. With Omens on the horizon, the metagame is bound to change from the injection of powerful new Lightning cards and the likely banning of other cards around it.
