Before any big Tier 4 event, there is always a Keynote address from the biggest cheeses in Legend Story Studios. It's speeches like this that allow us players to hear from the designers and developers first hand for all that we can look forward to in the coming months.
The Singapore Keynote has given us a great deal of insight for the coming months, going all the way into 2026. The announcements in the last Keynote in London was eye opening, and Singapore exceeded our expectations!
Next Pro Tour
During this Keynote address, Legend Story Studios announced where the first Pro Tour of 2026. Pro Tour Yokohama takes Flesh and Blood back to Japan on April 9th to 12th.
The announcement came with the promise that this event will do something they have never done before at a Pro Tour. More official information will be given about Pro Tour Yokohama in October 2025.
Super Slam Previews
After reminding us what products we have to look out for; Armory Deck Legends Prism and Viserai, Mastery Pack Guardian, and Smash Palace, we got to see some previews for the next set, Super Slam.
The wait is over. The Revered heroes Tuffnut and Pleiades both interact with new tokens. In the Singapore Keynote address, we got to see the wording of these tokens.

As many players predicted, Toughness is templated to assist with defending. Not quite as consistent as Embodiment of Earth, this aura buffs the first card you block with to gain +1 defence, which can still respectably cover a breakpoint on a normal card

Our first look at what Suspense Counters look like, they're also as predicted. The Auras enter and lose counters over turns, much like Steam counters on Mechanologist items. They also have strong benefits when they enter or leave play. In the Palm of Your Hand in particular allowing extra card draw. What's interesting is that it's vanilla Guardian; not Revered or a Specialisation. Other Guardians being able to play this or search for it with Imposing Visage is a surprise, but a welcome one.
Confidence tokens bring a new kind of evasion that is hard to evaluate. It's close to Dominate since it limits to two cards to defend, then as many Block cards as you have. With more powerful block cards coming from Bright Lights onward, it is pushing the envelope on what evasive damage can look like.
The 31 expansion slot cards will be revealed across the events in Auckland, Kansas City, and Copenhagen.
They also revealed a chase Majestic rarity card in the Pleiades Armory deck and Gem Pack 3.

The first "Timewalk" effect in Flesh and Blood is balanced as well as this kind of effect could be. It's got quite the hoop to jump through to make the on hit worth it. It's currently unclear if 3 or more Suspense Auras are likely to leave on the right turn when you want to send this attack, and it requires it to hit after paying 6 (Vigor and Seismic Surge tokens not withstanding). It's also balanced in the way that the opponent gets to draw back up to deal with the extra turn the Pleiades player gets to have. Lastly, it's a Revered Guardian card, so only Pleiades can play it.
Altogether, Standing Ovation reads a little over balanced, but I'm prepared to lose to it.

Similarly, Outside Interference is a card that's only playable in new Kayo. A Blue that has the upside of being able to get any Reviled attack from your Inventory/Sideboard. This allows the deck to be highly toolboxy, and depending how deep the Reviled talent gets, this card can be a strong silver bullet. I expect this card to be a 3 of in every new Kayo deck.
Cosplay Prizes
For those who don't know, at every tier 4 event like Pro Tours and World Championships, there are also cosplay competitions. Chances to win cash and promo card prizes for bringing the characters from Flesh and Blood to life through Cosplay.
For the past few years, Taylor has been an exclusive prize given to the very best in Flesh and Blood cosplay. This is the only way to earn this card, thus making it extremely rare and highly sought after. After many years of being the prize card, Taylor will be retired after World Premier of Super Slam.
The new prize card for winning Cosplay will be the first pure Necromancer: Frankie, Make Ends Meat. Fans of Gwen from League of Legends will love the giant scissors and fans of Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas will love the patchwork stitching. We don't know what the card does, but promos like Taylor and Yorick, Weaver of Tales are only legal in Ultimate Pit Fight, but that won't stop the cosplay community chasing this card with almost zombie like zeal. This card will be a hot ticket to collectors the world over.
Cosplayers have their first chance to win their copy of Frankie, Make Ends Meat during the World Championships in Philadelphia this November.

Content Creator Grants
The generosity of Legend Story Studios was put on full show during the Singapore Keynote.
LSS are giving grants in the sum of 5000USD to content creators they're hand selecting to improve the quality of their content however they see fit. This is unprecedented in the world of TCGs, and it's this level of gregarious behaviour that big companies ought to be doing in the face of mass lay offs and redundancies.
Pro Quest Yokohama
As well as elaborating on the prizes that'll be available during Skirmish Season 12 in August, we were officially treated to details about Pro Quest Yokohama.
The majority of players going to the next Pro Tour will have qualified by winning a Pro Quest; with the other ways in being winning a Battle Hardened, top 8'ing a Calling, or using a saved PTI.
From October 4th to November 9th, stores across the world will be hosting Pro Quest events to give people their crucial invites to Pro Tour Yokohama.
We've seen the prizes with additional Gem packs for participation, Swing Big with new, extended artwork for the Top 8, new card Overcrowded for the Top 4, playmats of Tuffnut, Kayo Underhanded Cheat, and Pleiades for the Top 2 (though not Lyath interestingly), and the invitation and the Gold Foil for the winner.

The reprint of Swing Big as a promo leads me to assume it's being reprinted in Super Slam. That's reasonable given the current cost of the card, but it's also been called a problematic design. It'll be interesting to see if it sees play in New Kayo or Tuffnut.
Overcrowded brings back the Ambush keyword we've seen on Tiger Eye Reflex and kind of on Down and Dirty. It gaining stats based on tokens in the arena, in a set with Vigor, Might, Confidence, and Toughness - as well as the presence of Embodiments and the cards made with Codex of Frailty means we could see this be a premier defensive Blue for certain metagames, reminiscent of the long forgotten Hold the Line.
As the Pro Quest season draws near, we can expect decks old and new to be awarded Living Legend points, and irreparable shakes to the metagame.
Project Blue Becomes Silver Age
As we've reported in a past article, Legend Story Studios are in the process of trialling out new formats and new ways to play through a division of their company called Legend Story Labs. This initiative started as a format called Project Blue, which is somewhere halfway between Blitz and Commoner.
It would appear that they've listened to the player feedback, and they've announced that a new format called Silver Age is coming some time 2026. James White ended the Singapore Keynote with a mic drop like moment on this announcement, so we will need to keep a close eye on what's to come with regards to this new way to play Flesh and Blood.

Wrap Up
A short and sweet Keynote address has still given the player base a lot to think about and a lot to look forward to.
